Actually we have rights to be absent today pasal d France, aku baru tau that they are tolerant when it comes to religious holidays.. Boleh minta absent for a religious celebration.. But the thing is.. Tadi ada exam ah.. Annoying brabis..

Oh and the weather tadi tangah hari was sunny.. and then after 5 hours in school (from 1.30pm till 6.30pm straight), keluar saja pintu skulah atu, foggy berabis. Macam jerebu but sajuk.. Sajuk lah.. Baik jua aku ada bali bus pass for a week.. Nada ku sanggup jalan kaki balik skulah tadi..

Oh well, this week and next week will be a very busy week for me.. exams exams exams..

I'm going to Strasbourg again this Saturday and then there's this hari raya korban celebration this Sunday somewhere. Lupa ku d mana but ada orang invite..

I have a project to hand in by this Friday and two more exams to sit this week.. And then I have to hand in THREE projects and 2 exams to sit for next week.. CANT WAIT TILL IT'S OVER!!!!

Lille, London, Sheffield, Portsmouth, Leeds and Newcastle.. Here I come!!!

Updates

I've recieved an email from the MOE informing us that the Minister of the MOE, YB Pehin Dato Dr Haji Abdul Rahman, will be visiting Paris next weekend (29th Nov till 5th Dec). For that, they are inviting us to go to Paris next weekend.

Next Friday, the 28th of November, I am going on a day trip to Strasbourg, west of France (just beside Germany) on a school trip to visit the European Parliment and European Council building. I love Strasbourg! It's actually my top 3 favourite cities in Europe.

Winter is coming soon.. The leaves are almost gone..

My exam week is in three week's time.. I have a lot of assignments to do. I've already sat for 2 tests.. and I have another test to sit for next week. On top of that, I have 4 assignments to do before the second week of December.. Everything's piling up..

Though I have something to look forward to next month. I am going to the UK for my two week (awu.. dua minggu saja ah.. skajap!) holidays from the 22nd Dec till 3rd January. I'll be spending my first week in London and then ke Newcastle in time for new year.





Apa lagi ah? atu kali saja lagi.. Kucing ku masih belabih.. She likes to watch spongebob..

Intro

Just a brief intro..

I'm Masitah Jaafar. My friends call me Mas but my indon friends call me Sitah.. Nada bahh.. beibun saja about the Indon thing..

My birthday is coming soon on the 6th of October. I'm going to study French in the Centre Liguistic Appliqué (CLA) in Besançon (pronounced BAY-ZONG-SONG). The CLA is famous for its french courses for foreign students. I've been there once to visit the university during a STPRI school trip in 2004 and I remembered it well. I remembered that the receptionist was an Indonesian who married a Frenchman and we also had the oppourtunity to meet the principal who was a Frenchman who married and Indonesian and can speak the Bahasa Indonesia.. Aku nyomong yang bener.. It had lots of internatinal students from Africans, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabs, Eastern Europeans, Mexicans etc..

The city of Besançon is really lovely! It's located inside an oxbow lake which flows from the Doubs River. It has a citadel or a fortress surrounding some parts of the river.. I went there once and there was a lot of history in the building and a lot of hills! Besançon is located in the eastern part of France near the western borders of Switzerland and an hour away from Dijon and two hours away from Lyon and Strasbourg. lawa lah the place but honestly, it's more of a town than a city, I guess. I know you'll love it if you visit it.. but I'm dubious if I'll enjoy staying there for a few years.. untuk melawat, ok eh.. lawa brabis.. tapi utk tinggal sana? we'll see.. On verra..

I am half excited and half scared about this new town, new adventure, new school and new friends.. I hope I can cope with the studies and adapt the style of teaching and life in Besançon dès que possible.. I'm also hoping to find new friends to keep me sane all the time.. and find a shopping outlet nearby..
